Sonja Maier

Sonja Koch is a PhD student at the University of Graz. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen of Business and Society in Germany.
She has extensive experience in caregiving and end-of-life-care. She is certified bereavement counselor (BVT. e.V., Germany). Her expertise includes working with bereavement, care, end-of-life-care, bereavement in the workplace and multiple loses at a young age.
As part of her PhD, she wants to focus researching bereavement in the workplace (after the loss of a life partner). She also belongs to the EU-CoWork "developing compassionate workplaces."
