Biography
Dr. Sofie Vandenbroeck holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Environment and Health at the KU Leuven and lecturer for the course "People Management" in the Master of Biomedical Sciences program. Since 2021, she has also been the head of the "Knowledge, Information & Research" (KIR) department at IDEWE , where she leads a team of 30 researchers, information managers, and documentalists. Dr. Vandenbroeck has over 10 years of experience as a project leader and project collaborator in regional, federal, and international research and innovation projects related to burnout and psychosocial well-being, sustainable employability, and return to work.
