Kristina Kreimer

Kristina Kreimer is a PhD student at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Aging and Care (CIRAC) at the University of Graz. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and in Romance philology and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Graz. Throughout her studies, Kristina Kreimer also gained professional experience in both academic and non-academic research as well as in science communication and consulting. In her master’s thesis, she analyzed challenges and coping strategies of Austrian postdoc scientists under the aspect of human vulnerability. As part of her PhD, she wants to focus on vulnerability within (compassionate) workplaces and, more generally, the interplay between empirical research and sociological theory.
