Deborah De Moortel

Deborah De Moortel is a professor at the Department of Sociology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where she is part of the BRISPO research group. She did a postdoc at the Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf at the Department of Medical Sociology. Her research focusses on worker’s mental health, the health effects of the quality of work and employment, and social inequalities in mental health. She is a member of the Compassionate Communities Center of Expertise (COCO) and the co-coördinator the EU-CoWork project
